How to register for an internet account?
Students at all levels can register for the internet by visiting id.uok.ac.ir and clicking on the "Student Registration" option. It should be noted that undergraduate students will be able to connect to the internet immediately after registration using their student number and chosen password. However, master's and doctoral students cannot connect immediately after registration and must wait for an SMS confirming their account. After receiving the SMS containing the username, this group of students can connect to the university internet using the sent username and the password they set during registration.

How to register for a university email?
Graduate students (Master's and PhD) can request to create an email account by visiting id.uok.ac.ir, logging into the system using their internet account information, and using the menu on the right.
It should be noted that currently, undergraduate students cannot create an email directly. To obtain a university email, they need to go through administrative procedures via their relevant academic department. Specifically, the department head must officially communicate with the Information Technology (IT) management, stating the verified reasons and necessity for the student’s need for an email, and then register the request to create the account.

Can scientific resources be accessed from outside the university via VPN?
No, currently it is not possible to connect via VPN from outside the university to the internal university network to access and download scientific resources, because the university’s VPN service is disabled. Users must access scientific resources through a direct internet connection from within the university campus.

After the email is approved, who and where should we contact to download scientific resources?
To download scientific resources, after your university email is approved, you must go to Mr. Farid Zarei at the Central Library for necessary guidance.
