The Chemical Engineering Department is one of the nascent and young departments at the University of Kurdistan, currently active with 8 faculty members. This department began its work with a Master's degree program in 2008 and expanded its activities by establishing a Bachelor's degree program in 2009. Despite its short history, the department has effectively carried out research projects to meet the needs of the country's industries, as well as projects at the frontiers of knowledge, in the form of Master's theses. The Chemical Engineering Department at the University of Kurdistan, with the mission of training specialized, creative, and responsible individuals in industrial and research fields, strives to provide a dynamic platform for the academic advancement of students by leveraging experienced professors and maintaining continuous communication with the industry. Our vision is to cultivate the next generation of chemical engineers who, with up-to-date knowledge and social commitment, can address global challenges in the fields of energy, environment, and modern technologies.
